Fall Fortnight Tablescape and Baking from From My Carolina Home

Fall Fortnight means it is time to get my fall things to set a seasonal table, especially with the wonderful cooler temperatures this week. I got out my favorite pumpkin bowls, the copper color chargers and the leaf plates and began to play with putting things together. First, a plate stack is done, adding my white stoneware dinner plates.

Sunday Chat – Finally, It’s Fall!! from From My Carolina Home

It is officially fall! I hope it cools off more soon, as I am really ready to pull out my fall sweaters and woolly socks. I am searching the forest for changing leaves, and waiting to hear the geese flying south overhead, honking as they go. Welcome Autumn With a Little Bit of Fun from From My Carolina Home

Pumpkin Sky pillow: A welcoming touch for my front porch from Carried Away Quilting


The first week of September has ushered in bright, crisp days for those of us in Minnesota. I plan to spend part of my Labor Day weekend doing some fall decorating. As a jump start, I added a few autumn elements to my front porch, including my newest Pumpkin Sky pillow.
